Dambi came out of the dressing room looking beautiful as ever. Of course the female lead would look the prettiest. The makeup artist made sure she looked like the typical female lead emphasizing her features to look bright, innocent and pure. If I was truly the villainess, I would be feeling jealous right now. I noticed that the other female supporting roles were glaring at her in jealousy. I made sure that I wasn’t a part of that category. I put a huge grin on my face and gave the female lead a thumbs up.

I can't believe it, he's a complete fraud. I grumbled to the author, "Hey Author, did you plan this on purpose? He's nothing like the Yu-Jun I read on paper!" I never expected that he would be so petty. He won't give me a single penny. I was easily fooled by him. I knew I should've read the divorce papers, but I just wanted to prove a point that I don't have any feelings for him.

Eunho was curious about what had happened to Yuna over the years, but his curiosity would have to wait until he finished explaining their plan. He continued, “After discovering that you were poisoned, I generally investigated who could have been behind the poisoning. It was discovered that there was a maid that abused you when you were just an infant. That maid was executed by your father during that time. So we weren’t able to discover who had poisoned you at that time.”

The Ezraen boy’s face grew dark, “She was taken out of the prison cell not too long ago because of me.” Yuna asked, “What do you mean?” He didn’t want to tell her that it was his fault, but he knew more than anyone that he was at fault here. He explained, “She died while giving me her meals…” She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Was she hearing things? She was too late? Her eyes instantly filled with tears.

When I woke up this morning, I didn't expect my fake wife to be in my bedroom. Looking at the robe on the ground, she must've snuck into my bedroom last night. Ever since we got married, she's been trying to get in my bed. No matter how many times I tell her that this is a fake marriage, she won't believe me. I have never met a woman as crazy as her.

I never expected this to happen to me in all my life. I believed it only happened in fairy tales or in novels. The thing is, this is my reality. I woke up first thing in the morning and found a Greek God laying in my bed. The sun shining through the windows looked magical. The reflection in the mirror was the most surprising thing of all.

Once Akira was finished with his phone call, he said, “I just got hounded by my agent. I think we should head back soon.” He got in trouble because of me. I replied, “You can go ahead. I still have to go back to the eye doctor. I’ll see you around.” Akira stuffed his card into my hand and said, “Pay for the appointment with this. You can pay me back later.” I wanted to refuse his generosity, but I couldn’t afford to at the moment. Once I make enough, I'll make sure to pay him back.

There was a girl named Sun that was in the prison cell in front of Jake’s cell. He didn’t know how long she was imprisoned for. He first arrived in prison a month ago. For most of his life, he was hiding in the streets from the Guwon citizens. Every Ezraen knew how dangerous it was to be caught by a Guwon. It meant either living life as a slave or a prisoner. Unfortunately, he was caught stealing bread from a stall. Any crime committed by an Ezraen was amplified a hundred times.

It has been 3 years since the disappearance of Yuna. Why was everything so different from the past? Did his involvement with Yuna change everything? Eunho had no clue what he had done to change things. Even in this life he couldn’t protect her. He looked at his reflection in the lake and saw his worn out self. He had no appetite and all he could think of was Yuna.

With the help of Ara, it didn’t take that long to get to the palace dungeon. Ara said, “If my brother has chosen to imprison anyone, it should be in this dungeon. Let me handle everything from here. I’m sure that Sun is imprisoned there.” As Yuna and Ara approached the dungeon, they noticed a guard dozing off at the entrance. Both of them snuck into the dungeon swiftly without alarming the sleeping guard.

Princess Ara couldn't see Yuna's face, but she could picture a brave girl standing before her. She admired Yuna ever since she saved her from almost getting married off early. All because of Yuna, she was able to avoid getting married for this long. She smiled, "I admire you. I wouldn't be able to do the same things as you."

Yuna shivered as soon as she stepped outside. It was dark out and the lanterns lit up the walkway. She hid in the shadows behind buildings. There were a few guards keeping watch at night. It would be difficult for her to make it past the guards without getting caught. She picked up a stone and tossed it as far as she could.

Yuna had no clue how she ended up in this situation. She dreamt that she was chasing a chicken leg when she suddenly felt someone’s breath on her face. She instantly woke up to find a handsome face inches away from hers. His face reflected under the moonlight was extremely mesmerizing. His long eyelashes and seductive lips made her gulp. If only she had met a handsome man like this in the modern world… 

The sunset was a dazzling pinkish orange color. Yuna stared at the sky while waiting patiently for her plan. She was originally planning on getting Prince Jimin to find out what happened to Sun but decided that it was impossible for him to know. Guwon citizens had distorted opinions about Ezraens. She didn’t believe a prince would be any different. He grew up in a place that abhorred any Ezraen people. Yuna highly doubted that anyone in this society would be different.

Jimin’s request surprised her, “Could we meet at least once a week?” Yuna was so dumbfounded, she didn’t know what to say. Did he think she had all the time in the world? Wasn’t he supposed to be busy? She had only one thought, this stupid prince only thinks about playing around. He should be worried about his scheming brothers and sisters. His death is approaching and all he can think about is playing around. Someone please smack some sense into this prince.

Prince Jimin knew that the garden was off limits, but he wasn’t everyone else. He was special. His father favored him unlike his brothers and sisters. He was given special treatment. He was given permission to enter the garden only if he kept it a secret from the empress and his siblings.

Yuna made her way out of the courtyard and towards the Pocheung (Jail Cell for Criminals). She couldn’t make her way inside because it was heavily guarded. She’d have to wait till nighttime to get past the guards. It was too bright out and she didn’t want to draw too much attention to herself. It would be easier at night.

Yuna’s previous room was unusually far from Prince Minho’s bedroom. She never questioned him because she liked the courtyard and its surroundings. Most people in the palace avoided this place because there were rumors about it being haunted with ghosts. They assumed that the concubines that died tragic deaths were sent to this courtyard.

Yuna stared at the familiar ceiling and the beautifully draped curtains that hung down over the bed. Her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. How is she in this room? She changed the future. It shouldn’t be possible. She quickly got out of bed and noticed the familiar furniture. The room was decorated luxuriously, and it felt like she had become empress. She dashed to the mirror to check.
